What kind of fish work best for Aquaponics?

TILAPIA!
Why?
They are the most tolerant in some of the most extreme conditions.  They are tolerant of a wide temperature range from about 45F - 100F - that's water temperature.  They are tolerant of brackish water.  They grow fast, and they provide with a source of edible fish.

Tilapia is quite delicious.  It's lite in flavor, non oily and easily prepared.
